Confirm Understanding
- Does the employee know that the problem exists?
- Has the employee understood that you believe there is a problem?
- Does the employee know what you expect them to do about it?
The COACH will offer suggestions so that you van be sure the employee understands.
Clarifying Expectations
- Have you clearly explained the job and the performance you require?
- Has the emplyoee clearly understood what you want?
The Coach will offer suggestions for clearly explaining your requirements and the way in which you are going to measure performance.
