Supervisory Development Refresher

Key to a supervisor's successful continued development is reflection on their own practice. During this workshop, participants will review the key concepts of being a supervisor and applying them to their own action plan for implementing what they learn and improving their effectiveness as a supervisor.

Learning objectives

At the end of the workshop, participants will have developed an individualized action plan. Participants will be asking themselves three questions in order to develop their plan:

  1. “What will I start doing to improve my effectiveness as a supervisor?”
  2. “What will I stop doing, that by stopping will improve my effectiveness as a supervisor?”
  3. "What will I continue doing that improves my effectiveness as a supervisor?”


This workshop can be delivered in 1 day or 2 days.
